Members and roles
Glozr workspaces support multiple members with role-based access control. Four tiers cover the typical split between billing, configuration, content management, and read-only access.
The four roles
- Owner. Full control of the workspace, including billing. The only role allowed to change the plan or cancel the subscription.
- Admin. Manages members and agents but can't touch billing. Admins handle knowledge sources, behavior rules, integrations, conversations, and leads.
- Editor. Manages agents and knowledge. No access to members or billing. Can review conversations and leads.
- Viewer. Read-only access to agents, conversations, leads, and analytics.
Invitations
Owners and admins invite teammates by email. The invitee receives a tokenized link valid for seven days; clicking it requires authentication before the workspace attachment is finalized. Pending invites are visible in the members list so you can resend or revoke them.
Changing roles
Permission changes take effect immediately — there's no need for the user to log out and back in. Admins can change Editors and Viewers, but cannot demote or remove other admins or the owner.
Ownership transfer
Ownership is a two-step handshake: the current owner initiates the transfer, and the recipient confirms acceptance from their notifications. The previous owner is automatically downgraded to admin after the swap.
Multiple workspaces
A single Glozr user can belong to any number of workspaces, with independent role assignments in each. The workspace switcher in the top bar surfaces them all.
Audit log
Every membership change — invitation, acceptance, role update, removal, ownership transfer — is recorded in the audit trail for compliance and investigation.
